Profile bug involving VoiceOver on iPhone

Hello.

I am partly blind and require a screen reader for the text portions of the sight. At the time of setting up my account all I had was my iPhone with VoiceOver. When I tried to type my little bio, VoiceOver was trying to tell me that the sight was for some reason refusing text input. Help?

Dear zoner,
there is a board on the zone titled cell phone talk
this is a friendly note only

try posting this topic in the cell phone talk board.

Tango, normally I would agree with you, but since this is specifically involving "the Zone", I can see why they would want to post it to this category, though since they're asking for help and not really giving feedback, I'd personally have picked Q and A myself. Just my two cents.

As for the original question, I've never heard of this issue before, though I don't normally use my iPhone on the zone. Hopefully someone else has heard of this.

This could be related to my issue, where I cannot enter text on the reviews of audio profiles, either in Safari, on the Mac, or Firefox on my Ubuntu netbook. In both cases, the text area appears editable, but nothing I type shows up. On the netbook, my keystrokes are echoed as I type; on the Mac, they are not.

so in fat, it's a safari issue not just an iphone one?

In truth it's not a zone issue since the zone does not have a specific mobile site (for those with iPhone issues) so is more to do with how the phone interacts with the website rather than the other way around.

But as the previous poster appears to have issues with this on other apple products this probably belongs in geeks r us rather than celphone talk... so I will move it there..
